About me
I am Professor ofIndustrial Management (Swe: industriell ekonomi) at the Department of Industrial Economics and Management, and as such the fifth holder of Sweden's oldest chair in the field (established 1939).
My research revolves around various aspects of neo-industrial management, i.e. how the management of different types of modern, technology-based businesses is affected by technology shifts, innovation, and new business models. Some examples:
- Innovation in socio-technical systems
- Servitization
- Management of industrial R&D
- Strategies and structures in project-based firms
- Digital transformation
My research is published in, for example, Harvard Business Review, Research Policy, Technovation, Organization Studies, R&D Management, and International Journal of Project Management.
In addition, I am also co-author of the comprehensive textbook "Modern Industrial Management" (Studentlitteratur), which was awarded "Textbook fo the year" in Sweden 2017.
