About me
Professor of Medical Image Processing (2022), PhD in Technology and Health, KTH (2010), postdoctoral fellow at KU Leuven (2010-2011), admitted to Tenure Track at KTH (2014).
My research focuses on the development and validation of medical imaging technologies for improved diagnostic and treatment strategies in healthcare. I specialize in quantitative ultrasound methods in cardiovascular and obstetric applications such as tissue elasticity assessment by Shear wave elastography.
My research has been funded by the Swedish Research Council, Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation, Marie Curie - VINNMER International Qualification, FP7, Mayo Clinic Collaborative Project Grant and Swedish Stroke Foundation.
