About me
I am a researcher specializing in composites manufacturing and process simulations. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, focusing on advanced process simulation techniques.
I hold an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Composites Manufacture from the University of Bristol, where my research centered on process modeling of composite materials, with an emphasis on consolidation and its impact on component quality. To advance simulation tools for industry-sized parts, I implemented consolidation material models within Abaqus and developed custom software tools in Python, streamlining the modeling process. These tools were essential for enabling the numerical study of defect formation and the influence of material variability during manufacturing.
Before joining KTH, I worked as a Research Engineer at the National Composites Centre (NCC) in Bristol, where I focused on industrial applications of process simulations across various manufacturing processes. This role allowed me to address real-world challenges and provide insights into processes for complex components.
My work is driven by a passion for programming and solving engineering challenges through innovative simulation and modeling techniques.
