M.Sc. Eng. degree in Biomedical Engineering in 1981

M. Ed. in Mathematics and Technology Education from Linköping University, Sweden,1992

Doctoral degree:

Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Linköping University in 1990 under Prof. Åke Öberg, Sweden.

Postdoctoral positions:

  • Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tokyo University on application of MRI techniques for quantifying edema, experimental work with Prof. Shoogo Ueno in 1998-99 funded by Japan Society for Promotion of Science.
  • Department of Biomedical Engineering University of Oxford under Professor Bellhouse, 1995, Post doc research on Drinking water treatment with solar energy for applications in the developing countries, funded by Royal Society of Science and Engineering, UK.
