Om mig

I am an associate professor at Mechatronics and Embedded Control Systems division, Department of Machine Design, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm, Sweden. I received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Systems Control Group, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, in 2007. My main research interests include formal methods for the verification and control synthesis of cyber-physical systems, modeling, analysis, and optimization of embedded system architectures, energy management control of mechatronic systems, autonomous driving, trustworthy edge computing systems and applications, novel mechatronic systems enabled by 3D/4D printing, etc.

I have been a PI or co-PI for several national and international research projects funded by VINNOVA (The Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems), Vetenskaprådet (Swedish Research Council), Swedish Electromobility Center, European Commission, etc. I hold a US patent and have published more than 30 referred journal articles in prestigious scientific journals, including IEEE Transactions and Elsevier. I have won three Best Paper Awards in international conferences. I hold a Visiting Professor position of National 111 Project Base on Electromechanical Coupling Theory and Key Technology for Electronic Equipment at Xidian University, Xi’an, China, and have regular research collaborations with Beijing Institute of Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Xi’an Jiaotong University. I have supervised four graduated PhD students and am supervising eight PhD students in progress.
