Lukas Böcker

I am a PhD student at the Division of Electric Power and Energy Systems working in the field of Electric Machines and Drives under the supervision of Luca Peretti.

Focussing on machine design, my research is based within the Hemizero project. Working in collaboration with Scania AB, the goal is to develope a high-voltage electric drive motor for truck applications. This includes selecting an optimal machine topology to achieve high power density with low losses, studying the effects of high voltage on motor windings, and emphasizing the reuse of materials to enhance sustainability.
