Andres Ernesto Laya Romero

Andrés is Vice Director at the Integrated Transport Research Lab. He received a Ph.D. in communication services and infrastructures from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, in 2017. He holds a M.Sc. degree in ICT from BarcelonaTECH (UPC), Spain, from 2009. 

Before rejoining KTH, Andres held various roles at Ericsson, including research activities on consumer perceptions and business models. He also acted as strategic marketing director for artificial intelligence.
