About me
I have more than 25 years of experience of R&D, as researcher and head of research, within the field of catalysis and thermochemical conversion both from the academia and the industry. I am head of the division Process Technology and also the thermochemical research group with research focusing on many aspects of improving thermochemical conversion of biomass and wastes, gas cleaning and upgrading of gases in industrial processes, including e.g. catalytic conversion and removal of hydrocarbons and VOC, particulate removal and removal of sulphur and nitrogen compounds in gas streams for syngas applications or residual gas streams from industry. The research covers fundamental to applied aspects, utilizing experimental and modelling tools to obtain the basic understanding for engineering and scale up of industrial processes. Very often the research tasks/issues are chosen in close cooperation with industry with a strong focus on energy and environment.
