About me

I'm working as Director of Operations in the collaboration platform Treesearch, the national platform for the research on new materials from the forest (www.treesearch.se).  In Treesearch, academia and industry are collaborating to create a world-leading research environment in form of platform to develop the skills and competence needed to create future innovations from the forest. KTH is one of the initiators to Treesearch and the host university of Treesearch

I am also working with industrial – academic collaboration as partner leader in the KTH strategic partnership with Stora Enso. Read more about KTH's Strategic Partnerships

Since 2023 I am editor for Nordic Pulp & Paper Research Journal (NPPRJ).

My research interest is primarily in fiber-based antibacterial material, and I defended my PhD thesis on the subject in 2012 with Prof. Monica Ek as main supervisor and Prof. Lars Wågberg as co-supervisor. Since then I have been active in several projects which are based on the results from my thesis, both student/PhD student projects and in projects targeted at industrial applications. One example is on how to use the cellulose-based material for point-of-use water purification.
