About me

Jose Berengueres. Pronounced as /Ber - In - Guerre/., derived the medieval Germanic "ready for war". (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in bio-inspired robotics from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. He works on data science, human-computer interaction and the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on engineering and architecture practice among others. He has authored several textbooks such as Introduction to Data Visualization and Storytelling (2019) and The Brown Book of Design Thinking (2016). He also serves as an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society, and as editor of the special issue of MDPI's: AI and the Evolution of Work.
