Jianping Wang

Jianping Wang obtained Ph.D degree in power system automation domain in Univeristy of Mons in Belgium in 1993. Jianping joined ABB in 1995 and have been working in different roles such as development engineer, application specialist, technical market manager, technical manager/director,Senior principal Scientist, etc.in power system protection domain. From 2019, he has been working  a senior principal scientist working at Hitachi Energy Research within Hitachi Energy in Sweden. With more than 25 year experience in power system protection, Jianping is interested to contribute his industry experience and knowledge both in theoritical parts and practical parts as well as market areas to the young generation of researchers and engineers. Jianping has published more than 50 papers worldwide and he is also as a inventor/co-inventor  for more than 30 patents. Jianping is a senior member of IEEE, a Fellow of IET, and a regular member of CIGRE.
