Experimental facilities

My research is mainly of experimental character and performed in three different types of low-speed wind tunnels:

(1)  MTL – Minimum Turbulence Level wind tunnel (KTH)

(2)  BL – Boundary Layer wind tunnel (KTH)

(3)  ABL – Atmospheric Boundary Layer wind tunnel (HiG) 

Research area 

The research I am conducting can be classified into three different branches:

• boundary layers: transition, turbulence, separation, flow control
• bluff bodies: wake instability, flow control
• wind energy: wake instability, tip-vortex breakdown

with overlapping areas as illustrated in above schematic.
