About me
MSc. in Civil Engineering with the specialisation in Structural Analysis and Design from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University in 2020. Doctoral student at the Division of Structural Engineering and Bridges at KTH since 2020 with a completed licentiate degree in April 2023. I specialise in the field of dynamics of pedestrian timber bridges with a focus on experimental modal analysis, structural dynamics and finite element modelling.
The PhD project involves dynamic experiments on several pedestrian timber bridges at different construction stages in order to evaluate the dynamic contribution of different structural parts such as the asphalt and railings. The main objective is to increase the general knowledge of the dynamic properties and how to create accurate numerical models of these types of bridges. The dynamic analysis includes calibration of the numerical models due to the high degree of variability of the timber material properties and varying degree of stiffness at the connections as well as at the boundary conditions.
