As Master of Ceremonies I work as a project manager for the Conferment ceremony, the Graduation ceremonies and with Nit & redlighet. Besides that, I am a secretary for Prisberedningsgruppen.

KTH’s Conferment Ceremony takes place annually in November. The Conferment traditions dates back to medeveal times and the first Conferment ceremony was held at KTH in 1929. After I few decades of intermittent ceremonies it now takes place once a year. Besides the conferment of new doctors KTH also install newly appointed professors. KTH's grand prize is presented, as well as KTH's gold medal for Industrial Collaboration and Janne Carlsson's Scholarship for Academic Leadership. Then the honorary doctors are given their insignia as a sign of their new dignity. You will find more information regarding the upcoming Conferment ceremonyhere.

KTH’s graduation ceremony is of a younger date and begun in the 1990’s. It takes place two times a year, twice in May and twice in December.  The ceremonies welcomes newly graduated architects, masters of science in engineering and master's degree holders from KTH. Nit & redlighet is a ceremony that is celebrated (in it’s current form) in Sweden since 1803. Everyone who has been a Gouverment employee for 30 years receives a gift and is invited to a ceremony and dinner to celebrate.

KTH awards a number of prizes and awards, to both internal and external recipients. As Master of Ceremonies I am the secretary of Prisberedningsgruppen and also handle some administration related to prizes and awards. Read more inthis link.
