About me
I have an MA and a Secondary Teaching degree from Lund University, and a PhD in German and Scandinavian Studies from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. For 25 years, I have taught Swedish as a Foreign Language and Scandinavian Studies courses in literature, culture, and film in higher education. My dissertation was a qualitative study on minority identities in literature: "A Multiculturalism for the 21st Century: Literary Perspectives, 1990-2005" (2008). My academic interests are broad and go across the disciplines of language, literature, film and cultural studies. At KTH, I presently teach courses in the Swedish language and writing in the engineering profession. I also give lectures on Swedish language, culture and history for international Master students.
