About me
I'm Salvatore, a PhD Candidate at the Energy Technology department within the Heat and Power Technology division. I am a hard-working, determined, and goal-oriented engineer interested in innovation and sustainability in energy production. The overall aim of my PhD research project is to develop techno-economic models and market-oriented tools in the analysis of hybrid renewable energy sources with energy storage employing supercritical CO2 cycles.
Background
I am a Sustainable Energy Engineer. In 2017, I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineer at the Politecnico di Torino and then I joined a Double Degree Master Program between Politecnico di Torino and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Through the end of 2019 and the start of 2020, I worked at my Master Thesis Project at The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. In mid-2020, I graduated from the Double Degree Programme as a Nuclear and Energy Engineer and as a Sustainable Energy Engineer. I started my PhD at KTH in October 2020.
