Govatsa Acharya

A passionate and motivated engineer with a strong belief that nuclear energy is the one for the future.
My major interests are design and development of generation IV fast reactor systems with an aim of closing the fuel cycle, reactor physics and safety, Monte Carlo simulations and nuclear fuels. My other major interests include fluid mechanics, specifically exploiting CFD tools, ANSYS and to a lesser extent OpenFOAM and thermal hydraulics. These interests culminated in a research oriented thesis during my masters study at KTH, subsequently enhancing the relevant skills needed for a future in a dynamic R&D environment.
