How are we going to decarbonize our economy and be able to give a sustainable future for our coming generations? This is the question that has brought me to KTH. The iron and steel industry is one of the toughest nut to crack when it comes to deep decarbonisation. 

I'm a mechanical engineer by profession, with a masters degree in Energy Science and Engineering. At the Material Science and Engineering department we are investigating sustainable pathways for steelmaking using low grade iron ores under the "Green Steel for a Fossil-free Future" project .
