Short Bio

Gabor Fodor received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degress in electrical engineering (major in communications engineering) in 1988 and 1998 respectively. In 1998 he joined Ericsson Research in Stockholm, where he is currently a master researcher specializing in the performance analysis and design of wireless networks. Since 2017 he is also an adjunct professor at the Royal Institute of Technology. His current research interests include physical layer and medium access control layer algorithms for cellular networks, multiple antenna systems and full duplex communications. He is a senior member of the IEEE. Professor Fodor has published more than 100 papers in peer reviewed conference proceedings and journals, and is a co-author of more than 80 international patent applications (pending or granted). He was a co-recipient of the IEEE Communications Society Stephen O. Rice prize in 2018.
