Faik Ozan Özhan

PhD student specializing in Visual Optics, with primary research focusing on multifocal contact lenses for peripheral vision.

I hold a double major in Physics and Electrical Engineering, which provided me with a foundation for exploring the intersection of fundamental physics and engineering in optics. After completing a master’s degree focused on the ophthalmic applications of optics, my research experience increased my interest for practical optical technologies that enhance visual performance, leading me to pursue a PhD in the field.

I'm a teaching assistant in Optics 1 and Optics 2 for the optometry students at Karolinska Institute.
