Floor Janssen

My main interest lies at the crossroads of human movement and technology. I have degrees in Mechanical Engineering (BSc) and Neuromusculoskeletal Biomechanics (MSc) at Delft University of technology.

I am specifically interested in how we control movement, how this is affected in people with a neurological disorder, and how technology might be used improve this. In my PhD project I aim to improve the control of lower limb assistive devices by drawing inspiration from the healthy control system.

I have previously focussed on the predictive simulation of running using neuromusculoskeletal models.
