Erika Svensson Rössner, MSc is a Senior Adviser of International Projects for the region of Africa at KTH’s International Relations Office (IRO).
She started to work at KTH, IRO back in 2012 with the mission to focus on partnership development and coordination in Africa.
In this role, she initiated KTH in Africa – a step towards a strategic work with partners on the African continent. She is responsible for creating and managing liaising with foreign HEI-partners, innovation hubs, International Relations Office co-partners, local Swedish administration, alumni-groups etc.
Another role is to be international project leader for faculty led strategic partnership in Africa and the work within Global Development Hub (GDH) where KTH via mutual capacity building, in close collaboration with African partner universities, are developing joint education, innovation, and research activities for sustainable development and transformation. GDH-partners are developing and implementing challenge-driven education (CDE) and connected to CDE, GDH has a student exchange programme headed by Erika.
Erika Svensson Rössner’s academic background is from KTH where she in 2020 finalized her master studies at the Sustainable Urban Planning and Design programme. Erika has a bachelor exam from Stockholm University and Södertörns högskola, where she studied political science and languages (Spanish and Portuguese) and graduated from the European programme in 2006.
