Ekaterina Torubarova

I joined TMH as a PhD student in March 2022. Under the supervision of André Pereira I'm studying conversational engagement in HRI. Having obtained a joint master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from CIMeC (Trento, Italy) and SISSA (Trieste, Italy), I'm interested in a cognitive-inspired approach to communication between humans and robots, combining neuroimaging and machine learning in order to study how our brains process robots, and how this knowledge can improve the way robots' brains process us.
