Damian Vogt

Hi! My name is Damian Vogt and I am working as an Associate Professor (Docent) at the Division of Heat and Power Technology. My area of expertise is turbomachinery aeromechanics, which denotes a field that is concerned with the interaction of fluid and structures eventually leading to vibrations of components. In short, my research is directed to avoid such vibrations and by this ensure the safety, reliability, affordability and last but not least eco-friendliness of turbomachines.

I lecture several courses in the field of turbomachinery at KTH. I also serve as the Programme director of the THRUST Erasmus Mundus Masters Programme, which is the world's first Masters programme in turbomachinery aeromechanics. Besides this, I am the representative of KTH in the ECATA Management Group.
