Swedish Climate Policy Council (completed)

Between 2021 and 2023, I was a member of the Swedish Climate Policy Council, and from September 2022 its chair person, evaluating the climate policies carried out by the Swedish government. 

Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, IVA (ongoing)

I was Vice-Preses of IVA (Board Member) 2020-2022, and 2017-2020, I was Vice-Chairman of Chapter IX, Economics chapter. My objective is to introduce global, economic and climate policy aspects of the technological developments mostly in focus of IVA.

Retail Economic Council (ongoing)

I am a member of the Retail Economic Council (Handelns Ekonomiska Råd, HER), which is a joint initiative by the Retail Trade employers’ and employees’ organisations. With my experiences from working in similar types of councils, I can provide knowledge in macroeconomics and behavioural sciences. Sustainability, competitiveness and digitalization (E-trade) are important issues covered.  

SNS – Studieförbundet Näringsliv och Samhälle (completed)

For many years, I have been a member of Studieförbundet Näringsliv och Samhälle, SNS. I have participated in the Stockholm Chapter, participating in panels about the economic situation in Stockholm, and also on panels in general, such as Tylösandskonferensen. In addition, I have been a lecturer at their Samhällsprogrammet, a series of presentations by academics and practitioners to provide aspects of how a society works. I was also a member of the Board of Trustees, some 100 professionals (CEOs, professors, politicians, Director Generals).  

Industrial Economic Council (completed)

Between 2011 and 2017, I was a member and towards the last few years also the chairman of the Industrial Economic Council (Industrins Ekonomiska Råd, IER), also being a joint initiative by the Industry’s employers’ and employees’ organisations.

Swedish Fiscal Policy Council (completed)

Between 2015 and 2018, I was a member of the Swedish Fiscal Policy Council. The main task was to evaluate the fiscal policies carried out by the Swedish government.

I am a Member of the following Board of Directors: Creades (Investment company), Folksam Liv (Life insurance company), HUI Research (Retail Trade consultancy company), G-Förvaltning AB (Asset management company), Infostat AB, Entreprenörskapsforum, Cecilia Hermansson Konsult AB (Consultancy company).
