Engineer in Industrial Design and Product Development specialized in Circular Economy and Sustainability. Currently pursuing my PhD in Circular Economy in the metal scrap industry by looking at the sorting and downcycling of metal scrap due to the presence of tramp elements. By identifying and categorizing tramp elements present in metal scrap and determining their origin and reason for entering the mixture, the goal of my research is to provide with a clearer understanding of the importance and role of these contaminating elements in the scrap in order to achieve a better sorting and recycling of the material.
