Åsa Svenfelt

I do research and supervision 20% of my time at the Division of Strategic sustainability studies. The rest of the tima I am an Associate professor at Linköping University.

I am docent in sustainability and futures studies and project leader in, and up to 2022 program manager for, the research program Mistra Sustainable Consumption, and project leader for Sustainable Futures Beyond GDP-growth. My research concerns sustainable consumption, sustainable futures beyond GDP growth and just distribution and use of ecosystem goods and services. My main research methods are futures studies and backcasting as tools for sustainability and for dealing with uncertainty  in environmental policy and long-term planning.
