As a creative and an experienced engineer with 4.5 years of progressive growth in JSW Steel (world's 6th largest steel plant), I have coordinated and worked in projects spanning from understanding the technological problems and quality issues, analyzing the problems, designing and developing solutions, and creating enhancements in existing products & processes.

Detailed work experience:

• Worked in Technological Excellence and Product Development & Quality Control in Automotive grade CRCA steel and Electrical steel products at Cold Rolling Mill and Annealing and Coating Line.

• I was Unit in-charge of Quality Assurance in Service Center.
  • Monitored quality activities. Developed and enhanced Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Inspection Standards.

• Worked with R&D team.
  • Studied the effect of residual stress on the texture and magnetic properties of electrical steel.
  • Performed process modelling for higher silicon electrical steel grades.
  • Completed a research work on “Optimization and improvement of Magnetic Induction in 0.5% Si Cold Rolled Non-Oriented Electrical Steel”.

• I headed a cross-functional team.
  • Worked on ceasing Holes and Lamination defects generation in High Silicon Non-Oriented Electrical Steel.

• I was an overseer of customer support.
  • Performed customer visits to analyze, interpret and support / dispute on product quality claims.

• I was the System Administrator of AMETEK (COGNEX) Surface Inspection System.

  •  Achieved detection rate of 100% and classification rate of 91% in a shortest span of 6 months.

• I was a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) functional and an active User of SAP Quality Module (QM).
