Anna Delin is full professor at KTH since 2011. She leads a research group focussing on magnetic and quantum phenomena in materials. She is currently also heading the WISE research school wise-materials.org .
Anna received her PhD in condensed matter physics from Uppsala University in 1998. In 1999, she was awarded Naturvetarpriset for best Swedish doctoral thesis in physics. She has been a visiting researcher at ICTP in Trieste, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and the Fritz Haber Institute in Berlin. In 2007, she was awarded a research fellow position from the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. In 2018, she was awarded the Thuréus Prize for "significant contributions to the theory of nanomagnetism". Since 2022, she is a member of the Royal Society of Sciences (KVS).
Anna has broad experience from a number of commissions of trust and leadership roles. At SCI, she was deputy head of school 2018-2022 and acting head of school during 2019.
