About me
Over the years, Andrea has mainly conducted research in health care where she has focused on factors that contribute to health, work engagement, performance, and staff turnover. This means that she has led and participated in projects that focused on the interaction between demands and resources in the work, the importance of improvement work and learning processes, as well as the development of intervention programs for sustainable and health-promoting leadership.
Furthermore, Andrea has led research concerning LGBTQI people's organizational and social work environment, including how inclusive workplaces can be developed.
In recent years, Andrea has also expanded her research to include interaction between human-technology-organization (HTO). For example, from an HTO perspective, she has led research on how sustainable learning in private companies can be developed during and after the transition to flexibility in where and when employees work following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Most of Andrea's research has taken place in close collaboration with work organizations and her research has, in addition to scientific publications, often resulted in practical advice and handbooks that work organizations can use as guidelines for developing sustainable work.
Examples of projects she has been leading:
The social and organizational health of LGTBQ people
Sustainable learning during radical change
How learning processes contribute to health and well-being in health care
