Aljona Blöcker

I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Researcher. My research deals with analytical and numerical modeling of solar system bodies embedded in a moving magnetospheric plasma environment. I apply both purely analytical models and numerical simulations on high-performance supercomputers for solving the plasma fluid dynamical problems and for deriving properties of interacting planetary bodies. My research is mostly focused on two Galilean moons of Jupiter: Europa and Io.
