Three New Collaborative Projects Initiated at PMH R&D Cluster Workshop

On 15th Mar 2017, a workshop within our R&D cluster was held at KTH, in which new collaborative R&D projects were selected to be carried out this year.

All research partners and industrial partners participated in the workshop, including , Swerea IVF , Swerea KIMAB , Chalmers University of Technology , Fraunhofer IWU , Fraunhofer IPT , the PMH Application Lab , Scania , Sandvik Coromant , Volvo , and Ovako  who has recently joined the R&D Cluster.

Thanks to the contributions from all participants, the atmosphere of the workshop was very constructive and productive. In the workshop the following projects were selected to be carried out this year:

  • Characterization of Clean Steels for Future Powertrain Production
  • Sensing for Smart Machining
  • Sensor-based Metrology
