Open house is an annual festival that opens up usually closed environments to the public. In 2024, the festival runs 4 -6 October.

Behind the familiar pompous brick facade north of Valhallavägen that signals the entrance to KTH lies an area the size of Gamla Stan dedicated to science.
When KTH's new campus was inaugurated in 1917, it housed Northern Europe's most modern research laboratory, artistic decoration from the most famous artists of the time and was one of Sweden's largest infrastructure projects.
During one hour, the participants get an insight into the architecture, KTH's history and a few anecdotes from more than 100 years on campus Valhallavägen.
Stairs and cobblestones will be included in the tour, which is mostly carried out outdoors - clothes according to the weather and proper shoes!
