Course development

All worked very well last year, no major changes. More specific schedule in the KTH system, for increased clarity. Propose to have an official "kursnämnd" or student respresentative in the course.

Mostly kept as previous year. Project task presentation changed - first a peer-reviewed intermediate presentation, then a final presentation in VEL where all groups present. Examination is kept as HT22 - oral + written, with adjustments made to the written exam. Extension of exercise sessions for more practice and examples regarding exercise solving.

- Examination and improving even more its coupling to the project task activities. New seminar about how to solve an exam. - Two exercise solving sessions were also added for a smoother coupling between theory, project task and final examination. - Earlier deadline for the Project Task and later exam day. - A new lecture and a small project task on RAMS/LCC were introduced, with an invited specialist speaker from industry.

The exam has been reworked so that less questions of a more conceptual type are asked.

1. The project task starts at the beginning of the course and runs parallel to the lectures, and in phase with these. 2. The written exam is modified so that the constructive alignment between Objectives, Tasks and Evaluation is improved. 3. A non-mandatory study visit is introduced.

First year of Carlos Casanueva as course responsible, no major changes were implemented, just adjusting the time dedicated to different topics in order to improve the understanding of key concepts.
