Changes planned for the next course offering
In response to the evaluation findings, the course will plan a few targeted changes will be considered for the future course offerings. First, all assignment instructions and tutorial materials will be reviewed and updated to reflect the availability of GPU hardware in use and related tools, replacing deprecated tools and fixing broken links to ensure students can reduce the time spent in finding matched software versions with GPUs. Second, the project component will be restructured to provide more scaffolding, such as the guideline on finding suitable project topics. Finally, a faster and more structured assignment grading process will be established with recruitment of more TAs to providing more timely feedback on each submission within a defined turnaround time.
