Hillert Modeling Laboratory Launches seminar series about its most important tools
The Hillert Materials Modeling Colloquium series will cover expertise behind the lab’s inhouse and external tools. In addition, there will be events focusing on key applications and demonstrations.
Hillert Modeling Laboratory collects and displays tools for materials modeling, ranging from atomistic scale up to industrial scale. Using these tools for specific problems also assumes background knowledge about the underlying theories, methods and computer programs.
The Hillert Materials Modeling Colloquium series seminars are given by world-leading experts behind these theories, methods and programs. The purpose is to give a fresh view on the main former and ongoing activities within the tool development, and demonstrate the scope of these tools on practical cases.
”The target group is very wide, ranging from students interested in modeling, colleagues who would like to expand their toolkit or learn about alternative materials research possibilities, engineers aiming to improve their materials design laboratory”, says Levente Vitos, Director for Hillert Modeling Laboratory.
The seminars will take place approximately on monthy bases during the academic period of time.
