University in brief
Language of instruction: English Academic calendar: August-December. January-May. Credit system: Undergraduate: 12-15 hours/credits correspond to full-time studies. Lower Level electives: 3 credits = 6 ECTS. Upper Level electives: 3 credits = 7,5 hp. The course code shows the number of credits (the first number) and the course level. Lower level = 1-19- Upper level = 20-79. For example, BIO311C is a 3 credits course at the lower level. CH328M is a 3 credits course at the upper level.
Not recommended to take more than 50 % engineering courses. Enrollment in graduate-level courses is done at the discretion of departments and cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival. The Computer Science program can only accommodate a very limited number of students and admissions to the CS program cannot be guaranteed. Students accepted as Computer Science majors will be able to take no more than two Computer Science courses per semester. The College of Business is not available. Visa and vaccine in the USA
The processing time for a visa to study in the USA can take a long time, therefore, you should start the application as soon as you have been accepted for exchange studies at a university in the USA. The same goes for arranging the necessary vaccines you need to start your studies in the US.
For exchange studies in the US, a J-1 visa is required (DS-2019 form):
