University of Illinois, ranked among the top 50 universities in the world, is one of KTH’s strategic partnerships with a vast array of collaborations ranging from summer courses, joint and online programs, and research. UI is located in the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana in east-central Illinois. It is approximately a 2.5 hour drive south of Chicago (140 miles). The university comprises of 17 colleges that are spread out between the two cities including a large number of research facilities connected to industry. There is a main street that students refer to as Campus Town that gives a true Big Ten University college feeling.

Visa and vaccine in the USA
The processing time for a visa to study in the USA can take a long time, therefore, you should start the application as soon as you have been accepted for exchange studies at a university in the USA. The same goes for arranging the necessary vaccines you need to start your studies in the US.
For exchange studies in the US, a J-1 visa is required (DS-2019 form):

Immunization requirements are based on state law, you may need the following vaccines to start your studies in the USA.
