Hungary: Budapest University of Technology and Economics

Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) is the main technical university in Hungary. It was founded in 1782 and the first institution in Europe to train engineers on university level. More than 110 institutions are operating within the structure of eight faculties. The university has approximately 20,000 students and a large international population.
