Taiwan: National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University

National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University is one of Taiwan's leading public research universities located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. National Yang Ming University (hereinafter referred to as Yang Ming) and National Chiao Tung University (hereinafter referred to as Chiao Tung) has formally merged into the “National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University” (NYCU) on February 1, 2021. Yang Ming, which focuses on biomedical research, and Chiao Tung, which focuses on electronic communication research. It is a comprehensive university consisting of nine colleges with 1,400 full-time faculty members and 17,000 students. Apart from being highly ranked in subjects like biomedical, computer science and engineering, NYCU is known for it's many athletic facilities on campus, open to all students.

Credit system: 1 study credit from Taiwanese university equivalents to 2.0 ECTS at Bachelor and Master's level.
