Korea University, a leading research-oriented university in South Korea, is located in central Seoul and consists of two campuses: Seoul Campus and Sejong Campus. 38,000 students study here, of which roughly 1,700 are international. The university offers many different specialisations. In addition to technology, there are, for example, medicine, natural sciences, art and design, political science, law and economics.

Academic calendar: March to Junie, and September to December. The semesters are approximately 16 weeks long.
Credit system: Students at the undergraduate level must complete a syllabus of a maximum of 19 credits. Students at the graduate level must complete a course plan of a maximum of 12 credits. 3 Korean credits correspond to approximately 5 ECTS.

Note: The Undergraduate level is four years long, and the Graduate level is two years long. As a student, you are asked to be flexible in your course choices, as no course choices can be guaranteed. Compulsory health insurance, NHI (National Health Insurance in Korea), is registered for incoming students automatically upon arrival in South Korea. The university cannot guarantee accommodation. The university charges a mandatory application fee of approximately USD 50.
