Tongji University, situated in the megacity Shanghai, is one of Chinas oldest and most prestigious universities. The university offers programs in engineering, medicine, art and law. Tongji University was founded in 1907, but has grown over the years and is now comprised of 29 schools/colleges. Tongji University is top ranked within the subject areas architecture and urban planning.
