Japan: Hokkaido University

Hokkaido University is situated in the city of Sapporo, on the north island of Hokkaido. The university has around 18,000 students, of which 1,800 are international, studying at one of the two campuses.

Note: National Health Insurance (JNHI) appr. 2000-4000 YEN/month is compulsory to buy at registration. Acceptance from a reciving professor has to be submitted with the application to the university.
