France: Le Mans Université

The Laboratory of Acoustics of Le Mans Université (LAUM), Le Mans Université, is a highly ranked institution and one of the leaders in vibration and acoustics in Europe. They have one Master's programme taught in English, and other courses will be given in English if necessary. They also have well-established contacts with industry in the immediate area and in France. The exchange is part of an already well-established collaboration between KTH and LAUM, with joint doctoral students, doctoral exchanges, joint projects and exchanges at doctoral education level.

University in brief

Language of instruction: There is no B2 French requirement for the two MSc programmes taught in English, namely:

* Waves Physics and Acoustics

* IMDEA

Almost all other academic courses at Le Mans University are taught in French and require a B2 level (CECR framework).
