Swedish Ukrainan Polish seminar in Krakow October 17-19 on Future Urban Sanitation

16 Years celebration of Polish Swedish cooperation project

A research cooperation project in wastewater treatment started 1995 by the research group for Water, Sewage and Waste Technology has grown to include 7 Universities in Poland and Ukraine.

At the seminar "Future urban sanitation to meet new requirements for water quality in the baltic sea region" October 17-19 in Krakow there will be 29 presentations.
The research cooperation started as a Swedish Polish research cooperation together with Krakow University of Technology. During the years it growt to include 4 Universites in Poland; Technical University of
Bielsko-Biala, Technical University of Gdansk and Silesian University of Technology. In 2005 the project was enlarged to include Technical University of Lviv in Ukraine. in 2010 Technical University of Kiev and National Academy of Municipal Economy in Kharkiv joined the project. During the time 13 seminar with presentation from the participating researchers have been arranged. A report serie with 16 volumes have been published there 12 volumes are seminar proceedings with together 154 articles.
