KTH is a member of several international university networks. These collaborations provide a platform for international exchange, research collaboration, development of joint programmes, and also enable KTH to influence higher education policy-making.

CESAER

CESAER (The Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research) is an association which monitors the interests of technical universities and influence current issues at European policy level. CESAER's consists of over 50 technical universities from 26 European countries. The cooperation concerns research and all levels of education.

CLUSTER

CLUSTER (Consortium Linking Universities of Science and Technology for Education and Research) is a network of twelve European universities committed to enhancing the quality of science and engineering education and research. The networks ambition is to educate a new generation of engineers with leadership and entrepreneurial skills that can tackle the big societal issues of our time.

Deans Forum

KTH is a member of the prestitious network Deans Forum together with universities around the world. The network's ambition is a partnership at a global level on issues common to the technical universities’ futures. The network's purpose is to, among other things, is to foster on-going discussion about the future of engineering, promote cooperation to form international research alliances on major topics, and the enhancement of advanced human resources through co-supervision of graduate students.

EUA (European University Association)

EUA, the European University Association, has more than 800 members across 48 countries making it the largest and most comprehensive organisation representing universities in Europe.

Magalhães

Magalhães is a network of European, Latin American and Caribbean universities created to promote and support graduate student exchange between the member universities.

Nordic Five Tech

Nordic Five Tech is a strategic alliance of the five leading technical universities in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, that, among other things offers a number of joint master's programmes. The alliance was established in November 2006 with the goal of utilizing the shared and complementary strengths and creating synergies within education, research and innovation.

Scholars at Risk

Scholars at Risk (SAR) is an international network dedicated to promoting and protecting academic freedom. The network gives sanctuary to scholars who are unable to work in their home countries by arranging temporary research and teaching positions at institutions in the network. SAR was established in 2000 is now a network of more than 500 higher education institutions in over 40 countries.

T.I.M.E.

KTH is one of the original members that established the network T.I.M.E. (Top Industrial Managers in Engineering) in 1989. The network is an association of around 55 distinguished technical universities in Europe. The cooperation is primarily dedicated to the issuing of double diplomas.
