Hi, Arnold Pears, Professor at the Department of Learning in Engineering Sciences, who gives an open lecture on opportunities with AI in education on August 31st.

Which three words describe how you feel about AI development?

“Curiosity, challenges and opportunities.”

If you could wish for an AI application that could be useful in teaching and learning – what would it look like?

“A function that can help us teachers to follow the students' development and learning processes so that the work with assessments should not be as time-consuming.”

What will you talk about at the open lecture Aug 31?

“The importance of making one's own cognitive and knowledge development highly relevant for all students. AI is a tool that we will use, but in order for us to be able to use it in a good way, we all need to be able to value what AI can create for us.”
