Two KTH Life Science research projects on the IVA 100 list of 2022

Two KTH Life Science related research projects are listed on the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) 100 list of 2022. It lists research projects deemed to have great potential to benefit through commercialization, business and method development or societal impact.
The focus of the 2022 list is on technology in the service of humanity. Five of the total of 70 research projects on the list come from KTH.
Life Science related projects on the IVA 100 list of 2022
- Lauren McKee and Mengshu Hao are listed for their fossil-free hydrogel, which can be used in, for example, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.
- Mohammad Davari is listed along with several colleagues for the research that forms the basis of the spin-off InnoBrain, a platform based on neuroscience and the analytical power of new artificial intelligence algorithms to automate brainwave analyzes.
