Carbon-neutral and sustainable business transformation engaging network mingle topic
During a lunch and mingling event in April at KTH Campus, 26 students and researchers from various KTH schools met and discussed industrial transformation. The KTH Industrial Transformation Researchers' Network event also provided valuable input on how the network can continue its work.
”We wanted to provide an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, students, and professionals to meet and network with others motivated to contribute to the efforts on enabling the transformation to a sustainable and CO2-neutral business. We believe such opportunities are not so often available, especially between different fields,” says Zuhara Zemke Chavez, a member of the KTH Industrial Transformation Platform Researchers' Network who organised the meeting.
After a mutual lunch at Syster O Bror, activities at KTH Innovation followed where students and researchers got the chance to share their reflections on industrial transformation and contribute to the researcher of the week video initiative where they can share their view on sustainability and how one can contribute towards transformation for carbon neutral and sustainable business.
“The event went pretty well; participants were active and engaged in our discussions, thinking outside of the box and bringing input also for how we can, in our platform support, be a bridge between industry, researchers and students to join efforts in the transformation towards sustainable and CO2-neutral industry.”
The next event will be organised during the fall, where the network will target industry partners' participation and active involvement.
