ECATA ABI Course

KTH partcipates through the Department of Energy Technology in the ECATA Consortium. The ECATA Consortium is composed of leading Aerospace Teaching Institutes ( Cranfield University, ISAE, TU München, PU Madrid, TU Delft, Politecnico di Torino and KTH) in association with the European Aerospace Industry (Airbus Group, BAE Systems, Alenia Aermacchi, Safran Group, Dassault Aviation and SAAB)

ECATA aims at identifying the high level training needs of the Aerospace Industry and jointly developing appropriate training programmes. Academic know-how, experience and knowledge of the profession are combined to organize a range of courses fitted to the needs.

The rapid reshaping of world-wide aerospace industry requires leaders to master “change” to sustain a competitive advantage in the global market place. ECATA Consortium has developed a top ranking international training programme for young high-potential executives utilizing a unique learning methodology specifically designed to meet the high standards of the new qualification requirements. The European Aerospace Business Integration Program (ECATA ABI Course) provides dedicated and unique training opportunities specifically aimed at the future leaders of aerospace businesses.

The ECATA ABI course is conducted each year between January and April, during 10 weeks off the job training at 2 different ECATA universities (2 different countries). The course is organized in three intensive residential sessions, participants returning to their home workplace in between.
